Have TOGETHER prevented America from becoming just another Democracy that spins downward into unmitigated populism -nationalism -xenophobia and ultimately fascism when a greedy mentally ill tyrant (like trump and his crooked cronies) comes along at just the right time for the nativists and their appointed political sycophants and opportunists (and absurdist Evangelists) to rally around.
