Lance Armstrong's confessional interview with Oprah Winfrey drew more than 28 million viewers globally across platforms, OWN said. Specifically, OWN said that 12.2 million people tuned into the telecasts on-air in the United States, with another 15 million watching around the world in 18 countries, and about 800,000 unique viewers watching the two-part interview streamed online. The second half of the interview was the highest rated Friday telecast in OWN history across key demos,
the network said that 90% of respondents thought Lance was a lying cheating douchebag and deserved his own reality show.
Oprah said today; "Lance is about as scummy as it gets out there - and as a role model he should have his nuts cut off BUT we are giving him his OWN Show because basically i love ratings more than pork jowls!"
